Just hit 301, so a huge “Vegas to Reno”! That is 24 Trick Trucks, 29 Class 1500, 24 Class 1000, 18 Class 7200 and 24 Class 1900. We wish all of our racers a great race and hope you create some memories that will last a lifetime! “Vegas to Reno” is #1 on many peoples bucket list!  See you all in Las Vegas on Thursday, August 16th!

Draw OrderThis is a list directly out of the database so the REAR starts have not been corrected. They are 1020 – Boyer, who is not on the list but is #20. Rear Starts: 1911, 1708, 2051, 3799, 4449, 7226.  This list will be updated and re-posted with the rear starts by 8/1/12.

Entry List – this is complete list for the Souvenir Event Program, entries are in numerical order.  Please check your entry, if you have any corrections/additions/revisions, please email the revisions to and we will make the changes. Please add your 2-3-4 people by Friday, August 10.

EXCITING NEWS!!!  Casey Folks was just added as a 2012 Inductee into the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame!!!  Congratulations Casey!!!  We are so excited here in the office, and very proud of Casey!  If anyone deserves to be in the Hall of Fame it’s Casey!  Also, we’d like to congratulate the other inductees, Roy Denner and Larry Roeseler, all three new inductees are all champions in the sport we all love, off-road desert racing.  Thank you to the thirteen voting members of the ORMHOF!  Click here to read Press Release

The General Tire “Vegas to Reno” race will be August 15, 16, 17, with race day on Friday, August 17th!  The reason it’s a Friday race is because the race goes into Saturday and the finish line is open until approximately 10 am on Saturday.  Also, we like you to have a day to stay and play in Reno and drive home on Sunday!  There is currently a general information sheet in the race file and a mileage chart, all other race documents will be posted on July 25.  The entry forms are posted in the race file and are due July 25th, the day of the draw, and that is the day the FIP (Final Information Packet) will be sent, which includes the pit book, map, schedule of events and rules.  July 25th is also the deadline to get your name, teammates and sponsors in the Souvenir Event Program.  Contact Russ Turner at  to buy an Ad or profile page in the program.

The Aliante Station in Las Vegas is now sold-out.  The overflow hotels are:  1)  Santa Fe Station – 866-767-7771. group code ACIVR12 – 10 rooms left.  2)  Fiesta Rancho, 888-899-7770,  group code “Vegas to Reno” and FCIVTOR.

Reno Hotel Note:  A racer with race team name ONO sent in a resy form that is not legible, your reservation at GSR in Reno has not been made, please call Peggi Gold 888-767-3658.  Also, every room needs a separate name so if you book 6 rooms give her 6 different names. (7/13/12)
